The Soil Moisture and Drought Information Management System is designed to mitigate drought and reduce disaster losses. utilizing real-time soil moisture, agricultural conditions, and water storage/diversion status of water conservancy projects as data sources. It employs advanced soil moisture sensors and other state-of-the-art equipment, combined with region-specific mathematical models, and leverages an IoT monitoring platform to establish an integrated decision support system featuring real-time soil moisture monitoring, information management, query services, and predictive analysis. This system enables the scientific formulation of drought mitigation and disaster response plans, providing decision support for effective command and control of drought relief efforts, thereby minimizing disaster losses.
