The tubular soil moisture monitoring system, also known as a non-contact soil moisture meter or soil moisture measuring instrument, is a sensor based on the principle of dielectric constant. It can dynamically monitor soil moisture content in different soil layers, enabling rapid, accurate, and comprehensive observations, thereby achieving a high level of soil awareness.
The monitoring system platform features an interface map that can locate device positions, allowing users to view and query new data, historical data, units, warning upper limits, warning lower limits, status, and other information in an intuitive manner. Users can also set upper and lower limit parameters and view alarm records. Selected data lists can be quickly exported as Excel spreadsheet files. The platform can simultaneously bind multiple monitoring station devices.
A plastic tube is pre-installed, with the main sensor placed inside the tube. This allows for easy removal and replacement of the main sensor from the pre-installed tube, making maintenance convenient and enabling high reusability.
The sensor can be moved up and down within the plastic tube, enabling dynamic monitoring of soil moisture content across different soil layers.
Emits high-frequency detection waves at nearly 1 GHz, which can penetrate the plastic tube to effectively sense the soil environment.
It is not affected by salt ions in the soil, and agricultural activities such as fertilizer application, pesticide use, and irrigation do not impact measurement results, ensuring precise data.
The sensor's electrodes do not come into direct contact with the soil, avoiding electrical interference with the soil and plants within it.
