The In-Situ Root Analyzer is a soil root in-situ planar multi-layer imaging monitor capable of capturing lateral cross-sectional images of soil and root systems. It monitors the growth status of living roots within soil and acquires high-resolution images for detailed root structure analysis.
Using specialized in-situ root analysis software, it rapidly calculates root morphology parameters including root length, root surface area, root volume, average diameter, and root tip count.
This instrument overcomes the limitations of rotating root monitors by enabling continuous measurement of root growth across an entire plane, making it more practical for root research.
Non-destructive in-situ planar measurement.
Captures high-resolution color images.
Acquires root images at varying depths to synthesize comprehensive root profile diagrams.
Enables fixed-point, continuous observation of root system dynamics throughout the entire growing season.
