The principle of the sulfide blow-through analyzer is as follows: sulfides in water samples are acidified, and the resulting hydrogen sulfide is carried by the carrier gas (nitrogen) into the absorption bottle/colorimetric tube, where it is absorbed by the absorption solution (zinc acetate-sodium acetate solution or 2% sodium hydroxide solution). The absorbed sulfide ions in the absorption bottle/colorimetric tube are then analyzed and measured using the appropriate analytical method.
The sulfur compound blowing instrument is developed and manufactured in accordance with the new national standard for the determination of sulfur compounds in water quality—the methylene blue spectrophotometric method (titrimetric method)—established in 2022. It is required for the sample pretreatment in the determination of sulfur compounds in water quality.
The hydrochloric acid inlet, gas inlet, and outlet are integrated into a single unit yet remain independent, ensuring that operations do not interfere with one another.
Constant-temperature water bath heating with a rapid automatic temperature control system, allowing the heating temperature to be manually set.
The sample rack and gas distribution system are adjusted via a height-adjustable knob, allowing for easy installation of samples on the front and convenient operation.
The nitrogen flow rate for each sample can be independently controlled, adjusted, or shut off, with a needle valve gas flow meter accurately controlling and displaying the total gas consumption.
Large-capacity reaction flasks enable simultaneous processing of multiple samples.
