Distillation experiments are a common and crucial pretreatment step in laboratory procedures at all levels. However, traditional distillation apparatus suffers from several drawbacks: separate components for heating, condensation, and collection make operation cumbersome and inefficient, with high failure rates. Temperature control during distillation is difficult, endpoint detection is not automatic, and backflow of distillate is common. These issues lead to poor reproducibility, low recovery rates, and other factors that directly impact experimental results.
The intelligent integrated distillation apparatus adopts a smart modular design: method customization with save/load functionality, automatic retrieval upon startup, a specially customized serpentine condenser coil, intelligent endpoint control to prevent over-distillation, anti-backflow protection, and dry-burn protection. This achieves intelligent operation simplicity, automated distillation, aesthetic practicality, energy efficiency, reduced consumption, and labor savings. Simultaneously, it enhances user efficiency and reduces personnel costs during sample processing.
Batch processing capacity ranges from 1 to 6 samples. Each channel features independent control and incorporates protective functions against backflow, excessive distillation, and dry-burning.
Equipped with a 7-inch LCD touchscreen interface, distillation methods can be customized and automatically saved for direct reuse upon subsequent startup. The system includes built-in calibration for distillation volume (weight).
The heating module utilizes a standard bowl-shaped fiberglass electric heating jacket, ensuring close contact between the sample container (round-bottom flask) and the heat source. It offers a wide heating power adjustment range, excellent heating uniformity, high thermal radiation efficiency, fast distillation speed, and long service life.
The system allows configurable distillation volume and time; real-time display of operational status, distilled volume, and remaining distillation time. Each distillation unit supports individual timing and volume settings, independent control, and standalone operation, with automatic shutdown upon completion.
Distillation endpoint control employs dual time and weight modes. Upon reaching the preset weight or time value, heating automatically stops, the distillate outlet is shut off, and pressure is automatically released, enabling unattended operation.
